Hi friend! I’m Mary Clare — most people call me M.C. I’m the founder of Lotus House of Yoga, a lifelong mover, yoga school leader, and dedicated Pilates educator.

Before I ever stepped into the world of teaching, I grew up studying dance my entire life. Technique, alignment, breath, and embodied strength were my everyday language — and Pilates was a central part of my training as a dancer. It taught me how to move with precision, power, and grace. Those early foundations shaped the way I teach today: intelligent movement, deep core connection, and a true respect for the body’s natural biomechanics.

Over the years, my yoga and Pilates practices have shown me one of the greatest truths of my life: trusting yourself is the root of everything. That trust becomes the spark for self-love, confidence, and compassion — and it’s the feeling I want every student to experience in their own body.

Whether I’m teaching a fiery sculpt class, coaching a teacher-training group, or guiding mindful breathwork, my mission is simple: help you tap into your inner genius and remember the power of your Soul.

When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me running outdoor trails, making magic with my kids, or cooking up plant-based goodness in my kitchen.
